Our family eats, breathes, and of course races PONTIACS!

Johnta1 races a 1970 Formula Firebird with a 455SD and Turbo 400.Johnta1 also races a Pontiac powered dragster that has a 455 Pontiac with Ram Air IV heads and a powerglide.
Julsta1 races a 1970 Trans Am with 400 Pontiac and Turbo 400.She also races a 1993 Grand Am in powder puff races.
Jeff races a Junior Dragster because he's not old enuff to drive a car yet!
After racing my Pontiac powered dragster all of last year with a first place finish at Butler's Pontiac Nationals,second and many 1/4 finalists at my home track,I've decided to go even FASTER!!! I just bought some Edelbrock heads off of Kauffman Racing Equipment.They look Great!.Just put them on and went to our first Test and Tune at our track.It went 5.28 at 128 mph! That's 2 1/2 tenths and 7 mph faster in the 1/8 mile. Next I'm going to put a Toilet Bowl (Ron's Racing Products,fuel injection) on and see how much faster I can go.
Update! May 31,1999
I just went to Jim Butler's Pontiac Nationals.
My car ran a best of 5.10 at over 133 mph!
I qualified in the Quick 4 on Saturday's regular program.I lost first round in Quick 4,but I went three rounds in their regular program.
On Sunday of the Pure Pontiac race,I placed 5th!
